Corporates are no more judged on their financial parameters alone. Corporates lies as a part of society; thus it becomes corporate’s responsibility to look after the society. Benefits of Corporate Social Responsibility activities to a corporate firm can be difficult to quantify and it has become dominant in business reporting. Corporate Social Responsibility is gaining more and more attraction towards academics (Research) as well as in the business actions. India is the first economy across the globe to lay Corporate Social Responsibility in to law for certain companies who fulfill the criteria of the law (Sec 135 of Indian Companies Act 2013). The paper talks about linear growth of CSR concepts and background for companies to implement need-based CSR activities. The Triple Bottom Line Policies which are directly proportional to CSR activities directs corporates towards social license. The facilities, self esteem, performance, publicity and service orientation are the factors affecting customer preference for light motor vehicle (Maruti Suzuki) cars. The factor analysis shows that facilities, self esteem, performance, publicity and service orientation influencing the customer overall preference about light motor vehicle cars, the more factor loading is associated with the self esteem factor. Therefore, the car manufacturers should emphasize on self esteem factors which consist of comfort, style and model variants as by and of itself customers will have a superior recognition of aspect of the brand. The majority of customers prefer Maruti Suzuki brand of car in Bhilai-Durg city. It is a group which is developed for the peoples especially for women’s to make them independent and employed. The purpose of my study is to analyze the effects of self help group to make women’s empowered and also their interest towards self help groups. In this study I am using chi-square test for achieving my purpose and I have taken 156 respondents for my study. As women they have experienced various obstacles since centuries. Policymakers of country are also facing extreme challenges to achieve balance and economic growth where the large sections of poor women population are still remain unreached with various programs initiated by government to alleviate poverty. The study tries to look at the impact of microfinance program on women empowerment. This study puts forward on how microfinance initiates to improve economic, social and psychological condition of women through inhabiting entrepreneurial skill. Further study scope is to understand the impact of microfinance programs on women and tries to recommend the effective implementation of microfinance program. After reviewing various studies made by eminent authors, government agencies, NABARD and NGOs reports it has been concluded that there is an improvement in living standard of women.
