Attraction towards livestock predation leads conflict. 92 scats samples of Panthera tigris were analyzed. Place of collection of scats indicates the movement pattern of tiger and tiger’s food and feeding behaviour. Scat analysis is the method by which we can reconstruct the diet of tiger because direct killing of prey by tiger is very tough to find even we cannot track at all. Undigested remains in the form of hair depict the prey species and choice of food. By this finding of livestock remains in the form of hair provide the dynamics of conflict with scientific evidence. By this conflict we can correlate the conservation strategies and its implications at all. In the current study, a total of 204 canine blood samples with history of fever (1040 to 1050 F), were collected and examined at Regional Disease Diagnostic Laboratory, Jalandhar (Punjab) during a period of one year (April 2013 to March 2014). Examination of blood smears revealed 8.33% (17/204) of canines were positive for canine babesiosis comprising of B. gibsoni (7.84%) and B. canis (0.49%). Vermi compost is nutrient rich, with microbiologically-active organic amendment which results from the interactions between earthworms and micro organisms by the breakdown of organic matter. Earthworms convert the waste material into small particles by breaking in the gut and obtain the nutrients from the microbes that harbour upon them. This process increases the rate of degradation of the organic waste matter, modifies the physico-chemical properties of the matter and leads to formation of humus in which unstable waste matter is completely oxidized. Variousphysico-chemical and biological characteristics of soil are enhanced by amendment with vermin compost as well as it aggregates stability of soil, growth of plants, increases microbial activity and enzyme production.
