Abstract

The benzimidazole derivatives is an important drug in a therapeutics application of medicine, having varieties of biological activities including antihistamine, analgesics, antifungal, antiviral, antitumor, antiparasitic and use in endocrinology, cardiovascular disease, neurology and their synthesis is privileged scaffold. The literature reviews indicate that the substituted benzimidazole derivatives showed more potent biological activity. The benzimidazole derivatives are summarized in this review to know about pharmacological activities as well as chemistry.
