New Ultramarine Generations from Egyptian Raw Materials

Abstract
New ultramarine generation have been prepared by the solid state mixing and firing technique from Egyptian Raw Materials for the first time. The raw materials used includes kaoline, Na2CO3 , charcoal and sulphur precursors. The action of NH4Cl on the obtained ultramarine has been studied using X-ray, UV absorption and DC-electrical conductivity, whereas a midet esr appears. Results of TGA, DTA and electrical conductivity have been undertaken and interpreted for the first time.
