Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to familiarize Log compound Rayleigh distribution using log transformation to the random variable of compound Rayleigh distribution. We obtain its basic reliability properties, order statistics and parameter estimation by method of likelihood estimates. Lastly we apply this proposed model to the two reliability data sets and compare its superiority with Gompertz, Nadarajah Haghighi, Weibull, Type II Topp Leone Inverse Rayleigh, Lomax and Log Dagum distributions.
