Abstract

Traditional Knowledge has been an asset and often a major source of income for many indigenous communities. Increasing bio-piracy has been seen to reflect a conflict of cultural and ethical values between the original stakeholders and the bio-pirates and a deterioration of basic values is what is overall concluded in this study.
