Abstract

The tadpole shrimp (Triopsgranarius) is largely geographically distributed throughout North Africa, Middle East and Asia. Ithas recently been found in Ghat Municipality of Libya after torrential floods. The collections of Triops granaries are the first records to be documented for Libya.
